---

Charford is a large residential area located towards the south of Bromsgrove, but close to the town centre. It borders Stoke Heath, Aston Fields, and the town centre. Historically, Charford was farmland that separated the village of Stoke Heath from Bromsgrove, however was built up to provide quality housing for the workers at the nearby Charford Mill and Garringtons Drop forging plant.

Now, Charford is popular for those commuting to other areas of Bromsgrove, or further afield into other parts of Worcestershire, Worcester, or Birmingham. The majority of houses are two or three bedroomed semi-detached houses, some with off-road parking. The area also has regular bus services to many local destinations, including Bromsgrove town centre, Bromsgrove railway station, Redditch, Droitwich, Worcester, and Birmingham.

Charford is home to two schools, Charford First School, and South Bromsgrove High School.
